it is finally Friday Stingrays and a short one at that today we talked about parent teacher conferences home visits and 1sst News starts right now if you are today is a half day students you'll be released at 12:50 this afternoon teachers will be holding parent-teacher conferences at conferences for your parents to check in on your academic progress to this point in the year these are not to be confused with home visits for more on that though let's go to Celestial agario with rsst News special report so what are home visits and why do we have them first home visits are not with the name makes them out to be people may feel anxious when they hear the term home visit if you make them wonder why are you coming to my house what are you looking for and that usually makes people a little uncomfortable we promise that is not what we are doing our home visits are to help people Foster relationships between parents and teachers all will talking about all the amazing things their child is doing on our campus and making sure they are on the best pack for graduation we are not here to check under the bed or in your closet we are here to talk and see what is the best way we can help you and everyone on campus to see the next time you hear the term home visit we are here to help your child grow and build a lasting professional relationship with parents to achieve everyone's goal with our weekend weather report hey there my bluing Ray's we hope you have enjoyed the weather pattern in these last couple of days but seems like the sunny bunnies guys may come to one in this week Friday we are expecting scattered thunderstorms all day with the higher 88th and Aloha 79 Saturday we can expect morning showers with patchy Cloud through the day with a high of 89 and low of 79 Sunday Funday identical to Saturday with morning rain and a high of 90 and allow a 79 again hopefully Heather does not ruin your weekend plans have a great weekend and remember you're starting our lady stingrays have been doing some amazing work on the court these last few weeks for more on that let's go over to Paul with SST Sports Miss May I sure miss me to all right I'll get back in time Sports Bar East Greenwich have been playing great but the record of 422 with one more losses coming in overtime on Tuesday we swept both matches against a very good team that we barely lost too early in the season our players are learning and utilizing new techniques and building up their game this weekend Arbor City lady stingrays took on the Badgers last night and were able to get the victory played hard and worked as a team and they hope to continue to build a dominant on the court this season I think everybody who came out to support though cigarettes do not forget about our attempt to break a world record not just a School record but the world we need six thousand 392 boxes to be collected and topple over to obtain the record this is a joint effort for all of our Corpus Christi campuses so let's not get out done by our other schools and help us reach well that about wraps up another episode of ssk is for this week for Spencer Elmore I'm Celeste delagarza and we will see you next week
